MOSQUITO REPELLENT DISTRIBUTED TO THE HOMELESS AND LOCAL SHELTERS

AS PART OF MOSQUITO AWARENESS WEEK

Homeless residents are at a higher risk of being bitten by mosquitoes and exposed to West Nile virus. As part of our community involvement and education program, the District is reaching out to this segment of the population to provide free mosquito repellent packets and information on how they can protect themselves.
