School Program and Curriculum

Our school program educates and informs students enrolled in Sacramento County and Yolo County school districts about mosquitoes and diseases they transmit. The school program curriculum addresses topics of mosquito biology, medical significance, control and prevention of vectors. The curriculum correlates to California state content standards. Students are engaged and inspired to learn more about mosquitoes and other vectors as well as additional services the District provides.
